The Rincon Economic Development Corporation is dedicated to creating profitable businesses on or near the Rincon Reservation. Our mission is to develop a diverse, sustainable way of living for our people, while creating and maintaining generational wealth. REDCO exercises our rights of sovereignty, elevates our people, and continues to seek opportunities for the future.
RINCON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
In 2009 the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians submitted Resolution 2008-41 to the Bureau of Indian Affairs requesting approval of a Section 17 Federal Charter of Incorporation. Upon approval, the Rincon Economic Development Corporation (REDCO) was born. REDCO is designated for economic development not only occurring within the boundaries of the reservation, but also anything outside of the reservation in the neighboring communities that can increase our opportunities for growth. REDCO’s enterprises are separate from the hotel and casino.
Over the years, REDCO has sought opportunities that elevated our corporation’s diverse portfolio, while offering products that benefit our people as well as visitors to our reservation. The future is bright for REDCO as it continues to use sovereignty and land to create wealth for future generations of the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians.
The Executive Board of Directors is comprised of tribal members, who are business professionals with corporate experience and entrepreneurial spirit.
